Mmmm…are you a lady? Sounds like one. alright sure!
Well dear, I totally cut all unhealthy food stuffs such as fast food, chips, sugared drinks etc. from November last year till abt March this year. Of course I did indulge during Xmas and cny (how to resist?)
But other than that, it was purely a low carb-high protein diet. I stopped taking white rice as my main source of carbs and instead switched to complex carbs such as oatmeal. Protein sources include my usual boiled/steamed chicken breasts or baked salmon. I had this for 3 meals every single day for my diet period and trust me, it doesn’t seem that hard!(well, maybe only at the beginning). Oh oh oh! And I drank lots of oolong tea as well. It’s the ultimate drink that has super fat-burning properties.
Besides the diet, I work out every single day at the gym without fail. Usually, a cardio session before I head to school and then a routine weights workout and cardio again after school. Yes, it’s true that I did put in a lot of hard work and I’m pleased with the results!
Compliments so far about my achievements have been always positive and I feel great! There were times when I wanted to give up but I thank my boys for being so understanding and tolerant towards me whenever we go out and I’m unable to eat with them due to my stringent diet. Friends are important and influential in making your diet work as well!
So all in all, I dropped about 45kilos? Used to be 128kg and now I’m standing proud at 83kg. I used to wear size XXL and boast a waist size of 40; contented with a M/L size now with a waist size of 32.
So have confidence in yourself that you can do it too! But hey, don’t overdo it and what works for me might not work for you. So do take care and see how you can improve from my diet plan! Maybe it’ll work wonders for you as well!
